Biography:
Dr. Carkin has practiced Rheumatology in the Seattle area since 1993. She is a Clinical Associate Professor and sees patients at UWMC-Northwest Outpatient Medical Center. She enjoys her role in teaching Residents and Fellows but her main love and focus has always been on clinical care of people with complex inflammatory illnesses like Rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus and Vasculitis. A parallel area of interest is bone health and fracture prevention. She is the Director of the Strong Bones Program and Osteoporosis Care at UWMC-Northwest.
